no, I'm not talking about rescaling,

cc.commitCheckpoint(0, 1);
assertTrue(cc.isCheckpointCommitted(0, 1); // works
cc.commitCheckpoint(0, 2);
assertTrue(cc.isCheckpointCommitted(0, 2); // will fail
```
This may not actually break anything, but i find it dangerous to change
this behavior.
