This is an umbrella ticket for the Flink 2.0 cross-team release testing.
The progress works as follows.
# The release manager will create a Jira ticket for each of the features
listed in the release [wiki
page|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLINK/2.0+Release], and assign
the feature developers to the tickets.
** If there's more features to be tested, which are not listed in the wiki
pages, please reach out to the release managers.
# The feature developers should add instructions in the Jira description, so
anyone who has not involved in the developing of the feature can test it. After
adding the instructions.
** If the feature does not need cross-team testing, the feature developer
should make an explicit statement about that, and close the Jira ticket.
# After adding the instructions, the feature developer should un-assign
himself/herself from the ticket. He/she should either find a contributor who's
willing to perform the test and assign to the ticket, or reach out to the
release manager for finding a tester.
# The assigned tester can then perform the test, and close the ticket. For
problems found during the testing, if any, Jira tickets should be created (and
marked as Blocker if necessary).
