@rmetzger Thanks for joining the discussion. I am thinking whether should we make the lineage graph serializable, and so that it can be transferred to job manager within stream graph. Yes, it will be breaking change from where the event is created perspective. But from end user's perspective, there is no difference as long as the right event is generated.
