[~martijnvisser], I opened https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/29538 for a
shutdown race that can drop the Python worker's last log entries, which would
explain the missing messages here. The runner closes the logging server before
the control server, but the Python harness drains its remaining log queue after
the control stream ends.
The PR closes control first and waits up to 1 s per environment for the logging
stream to end. The new test fails without the change and passes with it. It can
be backported to release-2.3 with that branch's Beam imports. Could you assign
this to me?
