[~ajay bhat] yes, that could definitely be one way to go about it. Using JAXRS
/ Jersey to map the methods seems to be a good idea as well.
Changing the JSON creation to something like Jackson makes definitely sense to
me. I think the current version was a quick solution that could use some
improvement.
If you want, go ahead and make a proposal (maybe a few REST commands for the
start) and create a pull request. Then, we can start reviewing and discussing
based on that.
