Description:
Context
For releases with persistence support a customer would have an option to enable
that with new regions. We need to understand how users can migrate old regions
and change their type?
Also, how can we switch on persistence with SSC region which is their internal
region?
Question:
Assume I upgrade a version 1.1.x cluster with both an ssc and a non-ssc region.
I want to upgrade versions and persist both regions, what steps are necessary?
Steps:
manually migrate non-ssc
manually migrate ssc
manually migrate when there is non-persisted pdx? (this might change is we can
gaurantee pdx has been persisted)
capture all steps
Requesting one Storage engineer to pair for the day.
This ticket may generate other tickets for Storage.
