Hi @yrashish - sorry for the slow response. I did reach out to the dev list
about Java 11. I only got one response, but it looks like maybe folks are
concerned that geode itself requires java 8 to build and keeping the examples
consistent. So maybe it would be better to use java 8 APIs after all.
