Review comment:
       So @jdeppe-pivotal brought this up in standup the other day.  The 
decision the team landed on was to make these choices about data types based on 
our implementation (e.g. what makes sense with java data types in geode) and to 
guard against data types that we don't support at the command level (send an 
error back to any client trying to pass a datatype that we don't support 
internally).  I'll make sure that Hscan follows this convention.  I'll also put 
in a story to make sure that we're documenting differences between what data 
types we accept and what native redis accepts.
