+# Geode for Redis Example using Jedis Client
+
+This example demonstrates simple operations on a Geode for Redis cluster using
the Jedis Client.
+
+In this example, two servers are started with geode-for-redis enabled, some
data is added to the cluster.
+
+This example assumes that Java and Geode are installed.
+
+## Set up the cluster
+1. Set directory ```geode-examples/geodeForRedis``` to be the
+current working directory.

Review comment:
Since this file is in markdown format, a single newline in the source
doesn't result in a visible newline in the file when viewed online or with an
appropriate markdown file reader, but regardless, this one doesn't need to be
there as the line isn't too long to easily view in an editor without it. I'll
remove it.

> Add an example to the geode-examples project/repo demonstrating how to turn
> on and use geode-for-redis.
> This is just a script. User must download native Redis to get command line
> tool.
> Cluster Mode must be used.
> Start Server with gfsh.
> Use JedisCluster client to:
> * Perform Sets
> * Perform Gets
> Have a readme that speaks to using native Redis.
