[~mjumper] I seen this using Firefox and Chromium on Linux on the client side
(others on the team may have used other browsers in addition).
In addition our end to end tests running headless chromium in docker have also
encountered the issue - in that case there were no changes to the container,
just the site they were testing

> We are using Guacamole to display a chromium browser over VNC, and after an
> upgrade from v1.0 to 1.3, we have found that the left 13px can sometimes be
> rendered outside the host browser viewport.
> This happens when the host browser has a taller aspect ratio than the remote
> browser, and was noticed due to failing tests with a host browser at 800x600
> displaying a remote browser at 1920x1080.

> On further investigation, this also seems to happen consistently for the side
> menu when it is opened.

> For now, we have worked around the issue in our tests by changing the size of
> the headless browser, and time permitting, may add some CSS in an extension
> to fix
