Antoine Besnier edited comment on GUACAMOLE-1553 at 6/30/22 8:34 AM: --------------------------------------------------------------------- I confirm these errors also happens with Ubuntu Jammy (22.04LTS), which comes with OpenSSL 3.0.2. I believe that building the server from github (with code adapted for OpenSSL 3) works on systems that only have OpenSSL1.1. I know the preferred release cycle for Guacamole is every year, but there have been more than 60 commits since January, and maybe time has come for a point release (1.4.1?) ? was (Author: JIRAUSER282305): I confirm this error also happens with Ubuntu Jammy (22.04LTS), which comes with OpenSSL 3.0.2. > Make Error - Presumably OpenSSL 3? > ---------------------------------- > > Key: GUACAMOLE-1553 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1553 > Project: Guacamole > Issue Type: Bug > Components: guacamole-server, SSH > Affects Versions: 1.4.0 > Environment: CentOS 9-Stream > All packages listed on install page through official repos (AppStream, > BaseOS, CRB/PowerTools, EPEL, EPEL-Next) > ffmpeg built from source > Reporter: Alec M > Priority: Major > Attachments: guacError.txt > > > I get errors (See attachments) when building Guacamole as per instructions > ([https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/installing-guacamole.html)]. > Based off the error messages and some googling I believe this is because > CentOS 9-Stream installs OpenSSL 3.0.1 14 (Dec 2021) and has no older > alternatives? - Does Guac expect an older version? -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
