[~kronenpj]: A couple of things you can do to further debug this:
1) Put guacd in debug mode (GUACD_LOG_LEVEL=debug) and see if you get any more 
information. There's also an environment variable you can enable to get debug 
messages out of the Spice Glib library - I'll have to see if I can locate this.
2) Look at log files on the Spice server side and see if you're seeing any 
connection attempts.
3) Look at network traffic and see if network traffic is going out from guacd 
to the Spice server, or if there's any indication it's being blocked along the 
way.
