Julien Lejeune created GUACAMOLE-1874: -----------------------------------------
Summary: Open multiple connections from home page Key: GUACAMOLE-1874 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1874 Project: Guacamole Issue Type: Wish Components: guacamole-client Affects Versions: 1.5.3 Reporter: Julien Lejeune As explained in [the documentation|[https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/using-guacamole.html#adding-a-connection-to-the-current-view],] it is possible to open multiple connection in the same view from an opened connection by using the guacamole {*}menu{*}. _It could be nice_ to add this feature in the guacamole {*}home page{*}. Example use case : I have an application with two frontend servers. I want to open a connection on both server in a single view to watch the frontend service's logs. * Currently : ** From the home page, I enter the "frontend" keyword in the filter. Connection to both frontend server is displayed. ** I have to click on one of my frontend server to open a connection. ** Then, I have to open the guacamole menu with CTRL + ALT + SHIFT, click on the connection name. ** Then, again, I enter "frontend" keyword in the filter and I click on the checkbox next to the second connection. * Proposed improvement : ** From the home page, I enter the "frontend" keyword in the filter. Connection to both frontend server is displayed. ** I click on the checkbox next to the first connection. It opens a connection displayed in the drop-down menu, so I am still on the home page and my search is still active. ** Then, I click on the checkbox next to the second connection which is added to last view. ** Finally, I can click on the connection in the drop-down menu to access both connections. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
