@changleicn I don't see why the cases are different. Data ingestion
generally means you are copying data from a source to a destination. We aren't
quite doing in the case of HAWQ.
Ability to access existing unmanaged hdfs file(s) to hawq table is exactly
what an external table is used for and we shouldn't confuse users with a data
ingestion like approach.
