Let's do ".lib" in 0.94 and "lib" in 0.96+ then.
Using the '.' is the way we do other dirs in 0.94, so I think we should keep it
that way.
As Nick said, this is like an API, and the API is changed in many more
significant from 0.94 to 0.96.
[[email protected]] Every directory under the hbase root dir is
interpreted as an HBase table in 0.94 unless its name starts with a '.'
