I put up a comment that the patch passed on the precommit build, but have just 
removed it because in fact, no it did not. Further down the log is the same 
compilation issue Ted found. Let's refresh the patch. 

What is odd is that precommit ran tests afterward. Precommit tests don't clean 
the workspace!
