Curious if there's any writeup following up on the discussion you mentioned
above? Eager to look at.
Based on the description, just some thoughts:
- is that a part of more generic proposal to have system tables, which can be
pinned (all regions thereof) to a certain node, or it's just to solve this
specific problem?
- sounds like (correct me if I'm wrong) to make the HA/failover work properly,
the consistent replicas of such a table(-s) should be kept on each backup
master (and further when we have multiple active master, on active masters)?
