Mathias Herberts commented on HBASE-11365:
------------------------------------------

I'm curious how the current reversed scanner is used, because aside from having
a single cell per row its scanning order is not the opposite of that of the
regular scanner.

> NavigableMap returned by a 'reversed' scanner has qualifiers ordered in the
> natural order and not the reversed one

> Maybe this is a misconception on my side, but I assumed that the 'cells'
> returned by a reverse scanner (HBASE-4811) would be in reverse order, not
> just the rows.
> Was I wrong in my assumption?
