If we need Offheap cells to work here then ByteRanges has to be replaced with
ByteBuffers throught out. And allow even the onheap cells to work with
ByteBuffers instead of ByteRanges. We can instead replace with ByteBuffs and
create SinlgeByteBuff or MultiByteBuff based on the cell's component.
Suggestions? Can we defer this JIRA as 'later' once we decide on the
ByteRanges and its usages?
