stack commented on HBASE-15506: ------------------------------- HDFS-7276 adds 4 new configs (5 including the enable) where you adjust the manager to suit loading. A bit of work to figure good defaults that make it so this feature a benefit rather than a drawback would help this issue along; would be great if it ergonomically adjusted to the loading rather than require manual adjustment. We'd probably be first users too so some long running tests with this enabled would help this issue too (were some interesting issues during its development/testing). > FSDataOutputStream.write() allocates new byte buffer on each operation > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HBASE-15506 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-15506 > Project: HBase > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Vladimir Rodionov > Assignee: Vladimir Rodionov > > Deep inside stack trace in DFSOutputStream.createPacket. > This should be opened in HDFS.
