I have one question regarding CellChunkMap I see in your version of
CellChunkMap you have the following code:

if (buf.hasArray()) {
// so extract out the seqid from here.
// Also should indicate if there were any tags or not
return new ByteBufferChunkCell(buf, offsetOfCell + buf.arrayOffset(),
lengthOfCell)
} else {
return new ByteBufferChunkCell(buf, offsetOfCell, lengthOfCell);
}

where buf is the ByteBuffer where the cell data is stored. Can you please
explain about buf.hasArray() ?
