2.8.0 got called out as unsupported because the Hadoop PMC labeled it as "not
ready for production". [we had a brief DISCUSS
thread|https://s.apache.org/Fy4y] and then HBASE-17847. Looks like a total of 4
PMC showed up across the two.
It's called out [in the Hadoop section of the ref guide just like 2.7.0
is|http://hbase.apache.org/book.html#hadoop]. It could be changed, but I don't
see why we'd treat it any differently than how we waited for 2.7.1+ for the 2.7
release line.
