You mean the new API in Table return TableDescriptor type and deprecate the
other. Ya this will serve the purpose of this jira with out any BC issue.
Admin we have
HTableDescriptor getTableDescriptor(final TableName tableName)
We have to find a new API name so as to deprecate this old.
Ya lets do this for 2.0
