SnapShotInfo - yes I can see that it was not deprecated. But I t hink that time
it was decided to start the depreciation cycle from 1.3 only as that was the
one that was not released.
We had this done mainly because if we are upgrading the proto then having
Protos exposed in the public interfaces will prevent us from upgrading the
proto version (If I remember correctly). And internally we wanted to upgrade
the protos to 3.0.
