Thanks [~mdrob], good to know.
There's no mention of that on the Hadoop release page (but it does say for -
for example - 2.9.0).
In fact for the 3.0.1 release it says that 3.0.0 is deprecated after that
release (but then a 3.0.2 shows up two weeks later). I guess that referred to
3.0.0 specifically, due to the port change, and the 3.0 line.
So the current stable release is 3.0.2?
