Looks good.
I think the thought is that we do not check in these jruby scripts any more
because they have a tendency to rot as APIs change, etc. Attach the script to
the issue for folks who need this facility? Or what do you think Liyin?

getHRegionInfoOrNull instead and check for null when it comes back?
