Thanks for getting back to me [~yuzhih...@gmail.com]. That's a cool trick with 
the includes; I will try it. I was able to just hack tests_runner.rb for just a 
single test and the tests were passing when invoked from the TestShell.java 
test. I will circle back to this and let you know what my results are.
