Yes, the "radical" version has no cleanup (that is what upsert does). Not 
cleaning up makes it slab friendly and also fullfills the VERSIONS contracts, 
but it will lead to more frequent region flushes (at flush time most of the KVs 
will be removed, but it will flush a tiny HFile).
