Andrew Purtell commented on HBASE-7605: --------------------------------------- Some more information about the failure would be useful when opening tickets like this. I looked at one of the runs. The minicluster is shut down in the middle of the test, with ~8300 out of 10000 keys written, leaving writers hanging around with no service. See https://builds.apache.org/job/HBase-TRUNK-on-Hadoop-2.0.0/354/testReport/junit/org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util/TestMiniClusterLoadSequential/loadTest_2_/ The trouble starts here: {noformat} 2013-01-17 16:02:02,758 DEBUG [pool-1-thread-1] util.TestMiniClusterLoadSequential(105): Test teardown: isMultiPut=true 2013-01-17 16:02:02,781 INFO [pool-1-thread-1] hbase.HBaseTestingUtility(829): Shutting down minicluster 2013-01-17 16:02:02,784 DEBUG [pool-1-thread-1] util.JVMClusterUtil(226): Shutting down HBase Cluster 2013-01-17 16:02:02,785 INFO [pool-1-thread-1] master.HMaster(2096): Cluster shutdown requested {noformat} > TestMiniClusterLoadSequential fails in trunk build on hadoop 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HBASE-7605 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-7605 > Project: HBase > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: Ted Yu > Priority: Critical > Fix For: 0.96.0 > > > From HBase-TRUNK-on-Hadoop-2.0.0 #354: > loadTest[0](org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.TestMiniClusterLoadSequential): > test timed out after 120000 milliseconds > loadTest[1](org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.TestMiniClusterLoadSequential): > test timed out after 120000 milliseconds > loadTest[2](org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.TestMiniClusterLoadSequential): > test timed out after 120000 milliseconds > loadTest[3](org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.TestMiniClusterLoadSequential): > test timed out after 120000 milliseconds -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
