Istvan Toth updated HIVE-28940:
-------------------------------
    Description:
The commons-text coming via commons-configuration2 in Hadoop 3.4.2 and 3.5.0
requires
at least commons-lang3 3.13.0 , while Hive currently has 3.12.0

Hive also needs to update to continue working with the current HEAD and
upcoming releases of Hadoop.

The problem here is that the hive-exec uberjar includes these unrelocated
libraries , updating them while Hadop 3.4.1
is used may cause classpath problems with Hadoop 3.4.1.

This may need to be postponed until Hive updates to Hadoop 3.4.2/3.5.0

The problem is that hive-exec includes these libraries without relocation, so
this may cause classpath conflicts with 3.4.1.

Maybe this should be only done when Hadoop is updated to 3.4.2 ?

> Update commons-lang3 to 3.17.0 and commons-text to 1.11.0
