After the JLine upgrade (HIVE-25495 → 3.25.0, then HIVE-29662 → 3.30.16),
beeline -f <script> can send corrupted SQL to HiveServer2 when the script file
is large. Statements get garbled, with fragments of the file overwriting each
other, and some statements never arrive.
Example of a statement HS2 received (the original was EXPLAIN SELECT name,
count(*) AS c_5 ... GROUP BY name):
EXPLAIN SELECT name, counSELECT name FROM beeline_large_script_db.t_5 WHERE id
>= 5 AND note LIKE '%--%' GROUP BY name
