[~nithinmahesh] I thought the issue with the extra OpenSession RPC call within
HiveConnection#createHttpTransport
(https://github.com/apache/hive/blob/master/jdbc/src/java/org/apache/hive/jdbc/HiveConnection.java#L257).
I don't see your patch addressing that.
