Sounds good, [~lirui], [~vgarg]. As this is an optimization, I thought it can 
be put together with all these optimization rules. As to 
HiveSubqueryRemoveRule, removing order-by can be done right before that. 
Nevertheless, whatever makes it easy to implement.
