I'm going to take a look to see if this is possible, but I do not fully agree that this is a bug. Yes, it was possible in the past to add lines and keep their values. But you also HAD to create those lines, as it was not possible to add new lines. So, in some form or shape, this is a regression, but it is also bad design.
