@mattcasters not sure what you point out exactly - to be transparent my understanding is you played with a wrongly configured logging stack for your need. I'd like to also point out that the opposite is true, some synchronous logging will be too slow on some workload so moving to a logging API enabling to have both depending user need per configuration sounds the best no? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
