JSON Input accepts a previous-transform source that is a String of serialized JSON or a JSON-typed field holding a Jackson value. Enable "Source is from a previous transform" and select that field. Leave "Use field as file names" and "Read source as URL" cleared for JSON content. A filename or URL source stays a String. An arbitrary Java object is not a JSON source. See the Examples section of `jsoninput.adoc`. A non-string, non-JSON value still fails with a class-cast error (`InputsReaderTests`).
