## What Fixes #6751. A pipeline still has no start or end. This does not add a no-op transform. It adds a callout that belongs to one transform or one workflow action, draws next to that icon, and moves when the icon moves. The plugin is `plugins/misc/annotation`. * One annotation per transform or action, stored on that object so it moves, copies, and renames with the icon. * Plain text, and eight positions around the icon. The default is above it. * Colors come from the note General palette, so the callout stays readable in light and dark mode. * **Dashed line** is on by default and draws a dashed line from the callout to the icon. Turn it off to leave the callout unconnected. * Open it from **Annotate** on the transform or action context dialog, or by clicking the callout. **Remove annotation** shows up only when one exists. The user manual screenshot is in Notes on pipelines and workflows.
