The write path tracing looks really good with this patch! +1. Will commit in
a moment.
There are a lot of features I'd like to see added. It would be nice to be able
to graph arbitrary span IDs with some URL listing the span IDs. We also should
get rid of any single-parent dependencies (the HDFS write path does
multi-parent tracing). But let's do that in follow-ons.
