Andrew Olson commented on HTRACE-177:
-------------------------------------

We can live with 3.1 for now and wait for 3.3, didn't realize it was already
expected to be released in around a month. There wasn't a compelling reason for
us to upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2, just trying to stay current as the API evolves.

> Currently org.slf4j, org.apache.commons and org.apache.http aren't being
> shaded and are subsequently leaking into the global CLASSPATH. This also
> means that a dependency for a slf4j implementation will need to be added.
