Review Comment:
   Thanks for the explanation, it's more clear now.
   
   Indeed the confusion here was due to AWS APIs not fully describing the 
purpose - I thought that the "future" versionId must be passed, not the current 
one. Passing the current one allows Glue to check if other commit happen in the 
meantime, guarantying atomicity on concurrent updates.
   
   Adding a little comment to make this concept clear will be helpful for the 
codebase.
