Hi @dmeaux thanks for the note! Look forward if you have comments on the proposal. Currently I believe this is seeing if the necessary support in https://github.com/apache/parquet-format/pull/240 can make progress, which @jiayuasu and his team at Wherobots are helping on with Parquet community.
