Thanks for the detail walk through! I believe if [self.update_snapshot(snapshot_properties=snapshot_properties).fast_append()](https://github.com/apache/iceberg-python/blob/main/pyiceberg/table/__init__.py#L509) throws an exception, it will trigger the transaction __exit__ [here](https://github.com/apache/iceberg-python/blob/main/pyiceberg/table/__init__.py#L242), which will only contain 1 update [,]( https://github.com/apache/iceberg-python/blob/main/pyiceberg/table/__init__.py#L678) which is the delete as the append failed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
