SeaweedFS is S3-compatible local storage that I was using in place of MinIO, which has been been moved to [maintenance mode](https://github.com/minio/minio/commit/27742d469462e1561c776f88ca7a1f26816d69e2). I investigated [different options](https://rmoff.net/2026/01/14/alternatives-to-minio-for-single-node-local-s3/) and seaweedfs seems like a good one which is why I was using it here. On Slack, @pvary advised to use MinIO for now, and open the question on the dev list please, that we need to find an alternative.
