@kevinjqliu / @RussellSpitzer I wasn’t entirely sure whether the original request had evolved into a broader plan for a full bidirectional mapping module, so I went ahead and opened a PR to contribute a dedicated documentation page in the meantime. If I misunderstood any part of the discussion or missed a later update, please feel free to let me know. The new page reflects my current understanding of the mapping behavior and references the related work in iceberg‑python#3098. It is located at docs/docs/arrow-type-mapping.md and organized under a new “Apache Arrow” subsection within the Integrations area of the documentation, providing a natural place for future Arrow‑related additions. I also added a cross‑link in api.md to help users working with Arrow utilities discover the page easily. The file includes the required ASF license header and front‑matter for proper rendering and RAT compliance. If this direction still aligns with the intent of the issue, I’d appreciate your feedback. I’m happy to adjust the placement, structure, or add further cross‑links as needed. Thanks. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
