So basically this is a "day partitioning but weekends are usually empty" sort of thing? I think if we can get some other use cases or prior art in other systems we could probably think about it. One problem though is that we would be doing "epoch" weeks which means for some timezones we would still have that "late arriving data" issue and perhaps more so -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
