I will revisit this concept this week, unclear if it'll be this PR. We're still seeing overheads from this, and a related PR for operators in Comet's Parquet codepath (https://github.com/apache/datafusion-comet/pull/3802) was a big win for us, so I think we still want to do this. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
