Just because I saw it, the Misc item `Stop writing distinct_counts on v3 manifests`, is not relevant. There is no such writing in the rust implementation. see: https://github.com/apache/iceberg-rust/commit/6781ba94f245d14e75f602a08c2176cfcb171d7c that removed it a Dec 13, 2023.
