This has bit me, (and others) many times. I think the reason we did this, and I'll have to go back. Is we simply didn't trust the values and wanted to reassign them fresh to avoid bugs from faulty labeled schemas. I don't think there is an issue with adding a new method though I think there is a limited use case here for experts who are trying to do something very specific. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
