   Hi @Terry93! First of all, thanks for fixing this. Definitely this should be 
fixed as well.
   
   As to your questions, o be fully transparent I have not been able to make it 
to the Python refactor meetings that have happened so far. So I don't have an 
idea of an approximate timeline.
   
   As for my reasoning, I was thinking it would be nice to have some sort of... 
I guess deprecation notice? But that could be getting a little further ahead of 
ourselves than we need to do (and the name sort of tells people its `legacy` / 
deprecated anyway).
   
   So this is a good contribution. But it would be great if we could add more, 
possibly in a follow up, once there's more to add. Admittedly that time might 
not be now yet. 🙂
