Review Comment:
   should we say drop old table failed post renaming to {new table} roll back
to the old one, for clarity ?
   ```java
         LOG.error(
             "Fail to drop old table {} after renaming to {}, rollback to use
the old table",
             from,
             to,
             e);
   ```

Review Comment:
   should we extract this part in a private func so that it can be used by both

   [doubt] how are we deleting all the data / metadata files ? as per my
understanding purge table is simply call's drop table which drops table in
glue, not in s3, am I missing something here ?

Review Comment:
   [question] response might not contain this prop in the response, in case of
empty table list and getting it from response might cause issue of key not
found ? should we add a check for hasTableList and check PROP_GLUE_TABLELIST
when it's true, similar to java impl ? copy to all listing ops
